Our Farm When it comes to sourcing our meat products we can boast that all the beef comes from our own farm at Nutts Corner, Co Antrim. On the farm we stock around 120 head of cattle. It is a continual cycle of going to live stock markets, mostly in Co Antrim and purchasing the best available cattle. We buy in cattle between the ages of 8 to 12 months. With our experience and knowledge of livestock we are able to buy and rear the best breeds of cattle available to process and sell in our shop. As the modern customer now demands a low fat, healthy lifestyle Abbotts meats are here to help. On the farm we stock breeds of cattle that produce lean muscle and less fat covering. These breeds include, Blonde D’Aquitaine, Belgium Blue and Limousin known as continental breeds.
